新しい年を迎え、今年のLinuxはどんな方向に進んで行くのでしょうか。市場の流れに乗り遅れないように進めていけるのか、新年早々少し心配です。景気もすぐには回復しそうにありませんし、こつこつと今まで通り技術を磨いていくしかありません。ソフト開発面では、予想通りjava+XML等がどんどん浸透しそうな雰囲気です。今年は、デスクトップ環境とWebでの印刷関係に注力してみたいと思っています。

Sylpheed Install for Debian

02/1/22 メ－ルクライアント　Sylpheed をpotatoに導入。
tar zxvf sylpheed-0_7_0_tar.gz ./configure --prefix=/usr make make install 起動は　ktermからsklpheed &
通常使い慣れている、Becky風でgood です。

Redhat7.1 for VPN

02/1/31 Linux(IPsec) 対向 WindowsMe(VPN)。SD 2001/09号を参考に、各種設定。

VNC Install for Debian

02/2/4 VNC Server+VNC Client(win) をpotato(woody)に導入。

apt-get install vncserver
早速、サーバーを上げてみよう。
※必ずサーバーはノーマルユーザーで上げること！

New 'X' desktop is debian:1

上のように、初回、パスワードを問われる。
このパスワードは、VNC クライアントからアクセスしたときの
認証に用いられる。

認証用パスワードを変更するには、vncpasswd。

サーバーを終了するには、vncserver -kill :1。
※ 1 は「New 'X' desktop is debian:1」の 1。

クライアントはとりあえず

http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/download.html
からダウンロード。

クライアント＆サーバーで合わせて 965KB 程なので、
すぐに手に入る。（zip で圧縮されたとき）
VNC server: の欄に、debian:1 と入力。

ここで入力するのは vncserver を立ち上げた時にでてきた
「New 'X' desktop is debian:1」の最後の所を参考に。

Winから、Linuxの x-windowが使用出来て　Good です。

Omoikane 2.0 Install for Debian

02/2/7 Omoikane2.0導入。

３０分程度で簡単インスト－ル
うまくxが設定出来ないときは、ogl-admin を利用して設定すると幸せになれます。
ほとんどの場合、問題ないでしょう。

Gnome1.4 & 日本語環境がすばらしい。

kernel up for Debian

02/2/13 kernel2.2.17-->2.2.19へのアップ。
apt-get install kernel-image-2.2.19 で簡単インスト－ル
kernel upの今までのイメ－ジが根底から変わってしまった、すばらしい。

Omoikane for ATOKX

02/2/20 OmoikaneへATOKXセット。まず、atokx-1.0-1.i386.tgz,iiimf.tgz を/tmpへ移動。

上記の様になりましたら、パスの指定が悪いので
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PATH:/usr/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/lib
を追加して、実行してみて下さい。きっと幸せになれます。 (/etc/profileへ追加しておくと良いでしょう)

kinput2 &で起動するが、コンソールには以下のメッセージが。
